The first day in the rest of my [rich] life

I’m not poor. But I’m not rich either. I’d say I’m average. And for the record, I don’t like average. Average = boring = no fun. However, rich = yay! = good times! That’s my official theory.

So how does one test a theory? I’m sure there are a number of ways. If my project involved a new kind of drug and it’s affects on humans, I would not choose to donate my body for the experiment. In that scenario I would’ve done a couple of interviews. Maybe put together a focus group, bring a camera, and take some pictures. In this case, however, my only goal is to become rich. And for that purpose I gladly give you my body, soul and throw in some towels as well. One must never say no to a good towel!

The 1.000.000 Project is a new project. Not new as in no one has thought of the idea before, because they have, who are we kidding, come on, but new in my life. Of course, it’s all I’ve been talking about for the last year or so, that my goal is to be rich. The idea came about when I was having a beer (... always a good time for brainstorming – whilst being drunk. Later that night we sang Bohemian Rhapsody. Really loud.) with a colleague of mine, and she insisted that if anyone could make one million in six years, it would be me. So, I took her words for it and ran with the idea. Now I have five years left. I’ll be 30 in five and a half years, so let’s make it that.

To sum up the project: Make 1 million (currency yet to be determined, I hear Zimbabwe sells their bread for 10 million Zimbabwean dollars these days) before I’m 30 years old, which is in June 2014. I’m not going to burst out in sad & lonely tears if I meet my goal before then, but let’s be slightly realistic. Hm. On the other hand, let’s not be realistic and all and make it “as soon as possible”.

To sum up the project, for real this time:
- Make USD 1.000.000 ASAP.

On that note, I hereby declare The 1.000.000 Project for open!
