Oh my. I started the most insane cleaning-and-organizing- project today. I’ve literally scrubbed and sterilized every single inch of my penthouse. Well… at least I will have scrubbed and sterilized every single inch… when I’m done…
7 hours of intensely hard work - and 45% still remain!
Oh my.
To make it even worse; I was out last night. I seriously hope that painkillers mixed with cleaning products isn’t lethal. I refuse to die in an awesomely clean apartment! I won’t have it! All this work is going to pay off.
I’ll be alive and breathing in a super clean environment tomorrow, and I intend to enjoy it.
In other words - I’m not thinking about ways to make money today. I’m actually throwing stuff (and by stuff I mean four boxes and five trash bags) out. Not selling it, throwing it away. It’s the wrong way to go, but my hope is that one of the neighbors will take it away before it’s gone forever. At least then it can be considered charitable.
The really great news is that I found four bottles of red wine and a liter of whiskey. I had hidden hit in a cupboard. Why would I do that!? Oh well. The booze is safe now, and thank God for that!
Actually, I will thank God for it. It’s a Jesusday today, which is why I can spend a whole day cleaning instead of going to work. So, thank you God and Jesus!
I’m not really religious, but I do enjoy getting paid for not coming to work every once in a while.
... and there I went to finish the job.

Cleaning sucks but good luck anyway lol.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere.... I'm missing a few memory marbles here, too.... I read when you give things away or to others, you start the flow coming back to you. Giving is good. Yes, receiving very good....but I always remembered that and try to do it when things feel stuck coming in.
